Sweet lil things...

So Jake and I were in Temple last weekend looking around at Academy and we happened to walk by these adorable little camoflauge shoes! Now we don't know if we're having a boy or a girl yet but we HAD to get them because they were so darn cute...and as Jake says camoflauge. He told me it didn't matter if we were having a little Zoey or a little Hunter because regardless our little boy or girl will be chillin in these cute little boots!
We have an appointment Dec 11 to find out the gender..how exciting! I had such a time at Darnell yesterday. Since Jake will be leaving around Dec 15 I wanted to get an ultrasound in before he left so he could see our baby and know whether it was a boy or girl. Well the appointment maker guy was really rude to me and confusing me so bad that I started crying because he just wasn't understanding what I needed and he wasn't helping me at all. Well Jake HATES it when I'm upset so he's trying to figure out what's going on and then like 3 nurses saw me upset and were trying to calm me down...ok so I wasn't crying that bad. But they were all so nice to me and helped me so much! Eventually we got it all straightened out and luckily got an ultrasound scheduled like 3 days before Jake leaves so I was really happy when I left. AND we got to hear the heartbeat and it sounded so cool!! The dr said it sounded really healthy so that put my mind at ease seeing as we couldn't see the baby on ultrasound just got to hear the heart. At least I have one picture for now :)

Growing belly

Well this is me at 14 1/2 weeks! My regular clothes are starting to get pretty tight so I either have to walk around with my pants unzipped or buy bigger pants. I just don't know what I'm gonna do lol. I'm just not ready to buy bigger pants darnit! Not that I don't enjoy seeing my belly grow because I do, but bigger pants...just not too sure how I feel about that. Oh well I think I have at leat another couple of weeks to make my decision so I won't stress out over bigger pants just yet.

My nausea has gone away, for the most part. There have been a few days here and there (i.e.yesterday) where I've wanted to just throw up to get the nausea over with. It's been really nice to be able to eat things again. For about a month I couldn't eat much because I wanted to barf at the thought of putting certain things (many things) in my mouth. These days I have a love for chesse tator tots from Sonic...mmm yummy! Oh and Dr. Peppers which I limit those to 2-3 a month. So in place of Dr. Pepper I have turned to strawberry limeaides for comfort. Lol.
Another wonderful thing I have found myself indulging in are chocolate covered cherries...holy yummy!! Those things have captured a tiny spot in my heart. But if I'm not careful I'll find myself sitting and eating like 5 or even more!

Ok so I've been reading in my pregnancy books to keep myself up to date on things and they tell me that by now...during the 2nd trimester...the need to urinate frequently is suppose to calm down, but that has not been the case for me. I have to get up at least 3 times during the night to go pee! It's so irritating lol. I know I just now started the 2nd trimester but it's suppose to be getting better not worse. So all in all I'm ready to stop peeing every 30 minutes lol.
